Community Partnerships

LEAP seeks to foster many kinds of community partnerships:

  • We may be able to help your organization achieve a small service project goal that you have been looking for manpower to accomplish! Contact us to explore how we can help you and your organization "get things done".

  • Or, you may be interested in proudly showing off your commitment to the NEK community through sharing your expertise with LEAP, making a donation to a project or initiative, or offering LEAP members discounts on goods and services.

In January of 2019 LEAP celebrated the MLK Day of Service by completing service projects at various non-profits in the local community. The weather put a damper on some planned projects, but AmeriCorps Members still showed the spirit of "getting things done for America" through small service projects with: the Cobleigh Public Library and H.O.P.E. After service projects were complete, LEAP members came together at Northern Vermont University-Lyndon to reflect on their service projects and enjoy a meal together.

This spring, to make up for some MLK Day of Service cancellations, LEAP members will have the opportunity to participate in another day of service with Kingdom Trails - one of LEAP's many great host site/community partners. Members will help out with clean-up efforts at Kingdom Trail's annual NEMBA fest event.

LEAP gratefully calls all of our Host Sites community partners. Stay tuned for an updated list of community partnerships - and please contact LEAP if you are interested in learning more, partnering with LEAP, or providing a discount or service to LEAP members.
